About The Position

Technica is seeking a Part Time Bus Driver for support on Fort Bliss, TX. Description: · Drives buses for transportation of passengers per scheduled mission requirements to local or distant points as directed as per submitted request(s). · Assists passengers and military units as required. · Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort. · Complies with local, state, and federal traffic regulations. · Conducts bus repairs, and changes tires if deemed necessary. · Inspects bus unit per DOT regulations, responsibilities include confirming fuel, oil, and water levels before departing for a scheduled mission. · Loads/Unloads checked passenger baggage into bus cargo storage compartment if required. · May be required to drive a variety of transportation equipment in order to complete mission requirements (to include diesel or electric powered transit buses). · Drivers shall abide by rules and regulations of the Transportation Motor Pool. · Must report schedule delays, vehicle damage, or accidents to TMP management immediately upon occurrence. · The Transportation Motor Pool at some times is a 24/7 operation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 21 Years of Age
  • 3 Years Recorded Driving Experience
  • Must have and maintain a CDL Class A license or Class B license with passenger endorsement and Medical Clearance Card for entire time of employment.
  • Must be Extremely Customer Focused.
  • Familiarity with the Greater Fort Bliss Military Installation (to include East Fort Bliss, McGregor Range, Dona Anna Base Camp, Oro Grande, Tobin Wells, and White Sands Missile Range)
  • Must pass a drug screening
  • Must pass a National Agency Background Check
