About The Position

Technica is seeking a Property Specialist for work on Fort Bliss. Position Responsibilities: • Directs contracted personnel, if any, in establishment and maintenance of supply and inventory control management functions. • Performs duties involving supply room functions such as assisting with request, receipt, storage, issue, accountability, and preservation of individual, organizational, installation, expendable supplies, and equipment. • Performs property accountability, asset visibility, and equipment management functions. Maintains receipt and transaction files. • Ensures incoming requisitions, lateral transfers, turn-ins, and receipts of documents for property accountability are processed; aid in ensuring all authorized equipment is on hand or valid requisition. • Ensures excess or unserviceable property is properly turned in; assists with lateral redistribution of stock. • Use GCSS-Army to requisition, pick-up, and issue supplies and equipment. • Assist command with inventories (Sensitive Items/Cyclic). • Manage records and files; ensure documents are filed/stored IAW standard operating procedures. • Assists in/out processing of incoming and departing personnel assigned to the organization. • Assists processing relief of responsibility documentation for loss or damaged equipment, to include assisting with causative research for inventory adjustments by reviewing the inventory adjustment reports utilizing all available records. • Assists with the enforcement of issue schedules and procedures. • Attends weekly G-4 synchronization meetings. • Performs employee discipline counseling, employee performance reviews, and other personnel reports. • Reviews and approve employee timesheets. • Conducts interviews for open position.

Requirements

  • Must have knowledge and experience using GCSS-Army.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years.
  • Must have knowledge of Army Property Regulations, Property accountability and responsibility procedures, Property Book H/R procedures.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
  • Possess a minimum of five (5) year of experience working services as it relates to this requirement and the tasks associated with this position.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance if required.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to squat or kneel on continuous occasions.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting to forty-nine pounds assisted.
  • Capable of using and understanding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of a 92Y or 920A Warrant Officer
  • Demonstrated knowledge to operate and perform required duties using the cloud-based enterprise platform Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment and normally approved office computer automation equipment.
