About The Position

Safely transport students to and from school as required Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and driving record that qualifies employee to obtain and maintain a valid NCCDL and drive a bus as directed by supervisor
• Must comply with all rules and regulations governing the safe operation of a school bus
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision once the job is learned
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to read, write and keep records
• Ability to perform simple calculations
• Must be able to perform very heavy work exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to lift objects
