About The Position

Grants Pass School District No. 7 is now accepting applications for a Bus Driver for Route 132 for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is for 5 hours per day, 185 days per year (August-June). Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent driving record
  • Valid Class B CDL driver’s license with “P” and “S” endorsements and no Air Brake restriction
  • ODE School Bus Driver Certificate or permit
  • Must pass criminal history check
  • Ability to pass physical, drug, and alcohol tests
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy duty vehicles in a safe and economical way
  • Get along well with students of all ages and their parents
  • Learn routes, rules and procedures
  • Work varying split shifts, cover AM and PM bus routes as well as short trips
  • Perform other transportation related duties as assigned
