About The Position

GBI in Plymouth, UT is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Burn Table Operator to join our fabrication team. If you have a strong background in machine operation, overhead crane experience, and a commitment to safety and quality we encourage you to apply and become a part of our team.

Requirements

• Prior experience in operating burn tables preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to operate handheld grinders, overhead cranes, forklifts, be able to read a tape measure, and lift 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills for reporting and coordination
• Ability to maintain an organized and clean work environment

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company safety rules and procedures
• Follow operational instructions outlined by plate processing manager
• Maintain accurate records of part numbers, job numbers, and cut sheets
• Keep work area organized, clean, and safe
• Report any dimensional discrepancies to the plate processing manager or QA/QC team

Benefits

• Day shift full time position Monday-Thursday (Fridays depending on schedules and deadlines). Overtime available
• Pay is hourly based on experience
