About The Position

Blend Order Pickers use an electric order picker lift machine, high reach fork trucks, or powered pallet jacks to pull bulk stock from warehouse racking or drop pallets to the floor for picking items for use in building blend recipes.

Requirements

• Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment
• Ability to read, interpret, sort, check, count, and verify numbers and paperwork
• Physically able to lift and manipulate heavy objects
• Clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing
• Strong organizational skills
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• High school diploma/GED required

Nice To Haves

• Food & Beverage or perishable goods industry experience is highly desirable
• Electronic Inventory- handheld scanners- experience strongly preferred
• Power Equipment experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate a motorized high-reach/order picker truck, high-reach forklift, or turret truck to pull either bulk order for primarily blends, though may assist in pulling bulk orders for other purposes
• Build pallets based on “recipe” for blends, including labeling all materials as needed
• Perform other routine warehouse duties as assigned, or other blend duties as assigned
• Operate motorized forklift, filling machines, picker, and motorized pallet jack to move shipments, load & unload trucks, and stock handling
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by properly disposing of waste materials, sweeping floors, and removing trash daily
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Team player with a solid work ethic who is always prompt and committed to maintaining consistent work attendance
• Display exceptional attention to detail as well as the adaptability to move to a different position as required
