Our Building & Grounds Department located in Queensbury, NY has a full-time 40-hour Buildings & Grounds Technician III position available. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, which includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The range of pay for this position is $23.34-$29.46 per hour depending on experience. This is an hourly position with a floating on-call requirement and overtime per agency needs. The Building & Grounds Technician III provides advanced maintenance in plumbing, carpentry, and electrical. Want to be a WWAARC Building & Grounds Technician III and join our Team? Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Have a valid driver’s license that meets WWAARC insurability requirements High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required At least 2 years of experience in building or grounds maintenance = preferred. Must have a strong background in at least one of the following areas: plumbing, basic carpentry, painting, basic electrical, building and equipment repair, or grounds maintenance. Requires the ability to perform essential job functions that include prolonged standing and walking; frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting; and working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year.
