About The Position
Our Building Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of the YMCA building and grounds during assigned hours with an emphasis on ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all, along with helping Membership Staff close the YMCA at the end of the night. Our Building Supervisors work approximately 5-9pm during the weekdays and 12pm-4pm on the weekends. Requirements

- Initiative and foresight to stay busy and productive without direction
- Ability to start and hold appropriate, neutral conversations with a variety of people (i.e., make small talk, following recommended standards for communication.)
- Calm in busy and/or stressful situations
- Ability to have challenging conversations, such as those required to enforce building rules and policies
