About The Position
Sharon Middle School Building substitute position. Daily pay rate: $125 Hours: 7:30 am -2:15 pm
Requirements
- Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Able to adapt to sudden work assignment changes in response to immediate school/district needs.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Work cooperatively with students and SPS employees.
- A sense of humor and a proven ability to work in a polite and friendly manner with all employees and community members.
Responsibilities
- In the absence of the classroom teacher, provide instruction and manage the learning environment.
- Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives.
- Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
- Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration.
- Monitor Lunches
- Monitor building breakout spaces and hallways
- Perform other duties as directed by school administration.
