About The Position

This multifaceted position primarily supports a 24/7 inpatient substance use treatment program. This role involves independently performing housekeeping and general services under general supervision, including cleaning, routine building maintenance, fleet maintenance, moving furniture, and outdoor grounds care. Responsibilities also encompass routine construction work, grounds maintenance, routine preventive maintenance, and making minor repairs or improvements to the facility. The position requires assembling and disassembling furniture, moving items as needed, participating in building inspections to ensure health & safety standards are met, and supporting inventory control. Driving various vehicles, such as 15 passenger vans, tractors, and power mowers, is also a requirement.

Requirements

No education required
No experience required
Possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland (if assigned duties require operation of a motor vehicle)
Be subject to call-in 24 hours a day
Provide the employing agency with a telephone number where they can be reached (if subject to call-in)

Responsibilities
