Overview The Building Services Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the building and property. They oversee the cleaning staff and their activities, manage cleaning operations, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitization. This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00-$22.00 Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays) This position will remain open until April 10, 2026
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with facility coordination and direct employee supervision.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with ability to function in a multi-task environment.
- Ability to read, train and adhere to Material Data Sheets for all cleaning products / chemicals.
- Ability to work beyond normal business hours as required, including but not limited to nights, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness throughout the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.
- Ability to vacuum, clean restrooms, wipe surfaces, change trash cans, and other cleaning functions as assigned.
- Coordinate, supervise, and train post-cleans and day-to-day housekeeping crew.
- Supervise and assist event support staff during events.
- Assist with the daily maintenance operations of the building.
- Organize all storage rooms to be in neat and working order.
- Must possess the ability to operate, maintain and train staff on proper use of all cleaning equipment (such as:vacuums, scrubbers, extractors. etc).
- Other Duties as assigned.
