Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory experience in environmental services or healthcare housekeeping.
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff across multiple shifts.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols in accordance with regulatory standards.
Monitor performance and provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for staff.
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
Collaborate with other departments to address service needs and resolve issues.
Maintain accurate records of staffing, inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
Participate in budget planning and cost control initiatives.
Support onboarding and orientation of new employees.
