About The Position

Fidelity Mechanical Services, the premiere provider of commercial and industrial HVAC/Mechanical design installation and service in the Mid-Atlantic region, is looking for a Building Services Field Supervisor to join our growing team in Sparks, MD! The Building Services Field Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and personnel associated with the FMS Building Services team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep technical knowledge and a passion for service and team success.

Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years with HVAC systems in commercial and industrial applications.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Leadership: Dedicated leadership skilled individual able to provide the resources and mentorship required to effectively support a team and achieve success.
  • Extensive knowledge of the tasks involved with maintenance, operations and repair of HVAC systems such as VAV, VRV/F, hydronic applications, pumps, DDC Controls, cooling towers, chillers, and boilers.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to leverage manufacturer software programs, technical drawings, schematics, and diagnostic tools for service, repair and maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and diagnostic support for a team of Service Technicians.
  • Monitor team performance and implement improvements to drive efficiency and add value.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Identify and develop training goals for team members. Provide training to team members to enhance skill level and experience.
  • Perform field services such as preventive maintenance, emergency service repair, scheduled repairs and equipment replacement.
  • Communicate effectively with service coordinators, operations, and business development teams to ensure schedules are met and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Foster and maintain excellent client relationships through timely communications and problem resolution.
