About The Position

As a Building Services Engineer Development Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting apprentices as they develop the technical skills and professional knowledge required for the building services industry. This role combines classroom teaching, workplace coaching, and assessment, giving you the opportunity to deliver structured theory-based sessions as well as practical, on site support. Alongside your teaching responsibilities, you will guide apprentices throughout their entire programme, from enrolment to End Point Assessment. This includes tailoring training plans, carrying out workplace observations, supporting e portfolio evidence, delivering structured feedback, and ensuring learners meet the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours set out in the Apprenticeship Standard. You will collaborate with them to understand workplace expectations, shape training delivery, and monitor each apprentice’s development. You will act as a mentor and industry expert, helping apprentices overcome challenges, build confidence, and stay focused on achieving their qualification. As part of the Construction and Building Technology team, you will contribute to curriculum development, uphold quality standards, and ensure a positive learning experience that prepares apprentices for successful careers in Building Services Engineering.
