About The Position

Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. This role is suitable for students with basic foundational knowledge and little to no practical experience, ideal for freshmen or sophomores who have completed only introductory courses. The position is for Spring Break 2026, working up to 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm, in campus buildings at BYU - Hawaii.

Requirements

• Ability to clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, and other assigned areas.
• Willingness to work with cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Ability to notify a supervisor of any concerns related to chemical exposure or workplace safety.
• Ability to learn and safely operate cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Demonstrate professionalism when working around students, staff, and campus facilities.
