Building Operations Coordinator The Building Operations Coordinator serves an important role in the daily operations of ASU Enterprise Partners (ASUEP) and its affiliates, which includes several work suites in Tempe and Scottsdale. The coordinator reports to the Building Operations Manager and will drive coordination activities that ensure the facilities are well-maintained, secure, and comfortable for ASUEP employees and visitors. This position ensures daily building operations run smoothly and partners with a team of customer service support staff to provide clean and well supplied break rooms, reliable fleet and mail services, and other operational services that facilitate a well-organized, comfortable, safe and efficient working environment. The primary location for this role will be the Fulton Center with additional support required at the SkySong campus located in south Scottsdale on the corner of McDowell and Scottsdale Rd. What you’ll do Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, outside vendors and contractors, property managers, and building occupants. Coordinate vendor services to ensure a high level of consistent performance across the portfolio and proactively address performance gaps and areas for improvement. Assist with managing vendor contracts and payments, including invoices, POs, and SOWs. Collaborate closely with and provide direction to a team of Student Customer Service Specialists and provide coverage for any gaps in their schedules. Manage building operations related requests using the company’s ticketing platform and coordinate timely completion of tasks with a high degree of customer service. Ensure that routine and as-needed maintenance and repair are performed to a high standard; this includes painting, materials repair, carpet cleaning, appliance repair, remodeling, materials installation, etc. Coordinate central supply ordering and delivery services, general maintenance and organization of office space, and other building-related needs. Coordinate all employee desk move requests and partner with the Building Operations Manager on larger department and/or office related moves. Oversee conference center meeting reservations, room setups, customer satisfaction surveys, and identification of areas for improvement. Oversee daily mail services including, sorting, distributing, and managing all ASU Enterprise Partners mail and courier services. Manage all aspects of fleet services, including vehicles and golf carts. Manage projects ranging in scope and complexity that help facilitate efficient use of ASUEP facilities and resources. Manage processes and programs directly related to exceptional customer service. Use sound judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, and regulations of Enterprise Partners. Identify barriers to exceptional customer service and make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues. Contribute to processes related to workspace health and wellness. Contribute to company and department policy updates and changes.
