About The Position

Building Monitors / Sponsors are responsible for the well-being of Los Alamos Public School (LAPS) buildings when events are taking place after school hours. Monitors are representatives of the school and are responsible to maintain the credibility and respect of LAPS. The following are a list a guidelines, duties, and responsibilities of a LAPS building monitor / sponsor. The Rentals Coordinator will communicate with monitors / sponsors and coordinate all events.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety and well-being of students and clients that use our
• Responsible for monitoring and communicating with event clients the operating parameters for the function
• Responsible for enforcing the LAPS no Bullying Policy
• Responsible for being on site and active for the scheduled event
• Responsible for opening and closing the facilities, monitoring equipment and property, maintaining the "leave as found" standard this includes replacement of furniture or equipment and the general cleanliness of the area used
• Responsible for directing the client if policies or unsafe behavior is being conducted by their group
• Responsible for checking keys in and out to properly perform their job duty
