About The Position

Build Your Career at Milestone Contractors! The Building Material Technician reports to the Building Materials Manager for daily instructions. Work functions may change throughout the workday but will revolve around the daily operations of the building material yard.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent
• Drivers License Required
• Work well in a team environment, but also have the ability to complete tasks on their own with little supervision
• Maintain safe work environment
• Ability and willingness to learn and be trained to safely operate all equipment
• Accountability
• Ability to communicate clearly with supervision, coworkers, and customers in the field

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years experience working in construction, manufacturing, or similar industry
• CDL Preferred

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading materials on delivery trucks
• Making deliveries to commercial and residential jobsites on non-CDL flatbed trucks
• Organize and stock material in warehouse
• Pulling material orders
• Rebar fabrication
• General yard maintenance and grounds keeping
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills.
