Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid Drivers License
  • 3-5 years of hands-on facility maintenance experience required
  • Ability to troubleshoot high, low, and control voltage systems
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Proficiency using an iPad and email systems
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Effective time management and task prioritization
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergencies as needed
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience that demonstrate the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered on an individual basis.

Nice To Haves

  • EPA certification, HVAC/R experience preferred
  • Welding experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food manufacturing sanitary design preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA and MIOSHA regulations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and perform general maintenance and repair of: Structural and building fabric Electrical (high and low voltage, single phase, and three phase) Plumbing (leaks, clogs, faucets, toilets, drains)
  • Perform first-level quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Complete and document work orders and preventive maintenance tasks using the Redzone Reliability Module
  • Advise the Maintenance Manager of identified issues and improvement opportunities
  • Assist with minor construction projects and facility upgrades
  • Conduct audits related to preventative maintenance
  • Monitor and respond to building safety and security concerns
  • Coordinate and oversee on-site vendors and contractors
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, and issues
  • Organize storage of materials, tools, and equipment
  • Manage and order maintenance inventory and supplies
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, OSHA standards, MIOSHA regulations, and local building codes
