Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Valid Drivers License
3-5 years of hands-on facility maintenance experience required
Ability to troubleshoot high, low, and control voltage systems
Strong written communication skills
Proficiency using an iPad and email systems
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Effective time management and task prioritization
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergencies as needed
Equivalent combinations of education and experience that demonstrate the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered on an individual basis.

Nice To Haves

EPA certification, HVAC/R experience preferred
Welding experience preferred
Knowledge of food manufacturing sanitary design preferred
Knowledge of OSHA and MIOSHA regulations preferred

Responsibilities

Diagnose and perform general maintenance and repair of: Structural and building fabric Electrical (high and low voltage, single phase, and three phase) Plumbing (leaks, clogs, faucets, toilets, drains)
Perform first-level quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems
Complete and document work orders and preventive maintenance tasks using the Redzone Reliability Module
Advise the Maintenance Manager of identified issues and improvement opportunities
Assist with minor construction projects and facility upgrades
Conduct audits related to preventative maintenance
Monitor and respond to building safety and security concerns
Coordinate and oversee on-site vendors and contractors
Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, and issues
Organize storage of materials, tools, and equipment
Manage and order maintenance inventory and supplies
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, OSHA standards, MIOSHA regulations, and local building codes
