About The Position

The General Building Maintenance Technician will conduct basic repairs to buildings in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, electrical and other related trades.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in building, construction trades or a similar environment
• High school diploma with some additional training in plumbing, carpentry, masonry, building electrical fields and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Technicians as needed
• Inspect air conditioning units and change filters as needed
• Replace burned out lamps, sockets and ballast to lighting fixtures
• Perform various carpentry work as needed such as building and installing partitions, door frame jams and hardware
• Perform basic plumbing repairs (clogs and leaks) on toilets and sinks as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Follow Chobani safety procedures
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
