Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent
Professional experience in commercial building maintenance and plumbing systems is required.
A driver's license and good driving record are required.
Understand and demonstrate extensive knowledge of commercial buildings to ensure effective operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Performing building preventive and reactive maintenance and repair work; responding to requests for building repair and maintenance; maintaining records.
Consults with Facilities Supervisor concerning work assignments.
Investigate and repair above and inground plumbing including irrigation.
Performs maintenance and repair work on plumbing.
Assist others in repairs in other trades such as Electrical, HVACR, and Carpentry.
Maintains logs, reports and job status records; utilizes an online computerized maintenance management system.
Determines tool and material requirements for assigned work.
Ensures that assigned work is accomplished in accordance with procedures.
Assists other departments with special events, concerts, etc.
Installs, maintains and repairs plumbing fixtures in all buildings.
Does some janitorial duties when required; helps to monitor janitorial contractor.
Performs related tasks as required.
