Job Overview Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Perform services in facilities per contractual requirements. Work Model: Onsite
Requirements
- Two (2) years verifiable Custodian/Housekeeping experience.
- Must be able to comprehend oral instructions and follow written instructions as provided on daily work sheets.
- Possess a valid State issued Driver's License.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must be able to comprehend, read, speak, and write proficiently in the English language.
- Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional and courteous manner in diversified situations.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Service, clean and/or supply restrooms.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Clean building floors by sweeping mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
- Shampoo carpets.
- Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning duties.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
- Provide services while being aware of work environment, i.e., not interfering with personnel working in areas being serviced.
- Perform other duties as required.
