Under the direction of the Facility Maintenance Manager, this position: Supervises work crew and performs grass cutting, pruning, landscaping, road repair and general grounds cleanup. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance to assigned equipment. Plan and design landscaping on campus, maintain flower beds with the help of crew. Performs other related duties, to include preparing buildings every year for changing weather. This position is located at Pee Dee Regional Center, an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF-IID) of BHDD-OIDD located in Florence, SC serving residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma and custodial, groundskeeping or maintenance experience directly related to the area of employment.

  • Knowledge of safety practices relevant to the area of employment.
