About The Position

Exempt position: Responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of the entire Colville Tribal Court building and property and some equipment; supervises all facilities maintenance and improvement contracts in regards to the completion of the goals and objectives of the Colville Tribal Court; performs duties in a customer friendly, efficient, and profitable manner that promotes superior staff, customer and vendor relations. Perform backup bailiff duties from time to time as necessary.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum three (3) years of maintenance, construction, or related experience.
  • Requires knowledge and experience in shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing and maintaining positive fair and professional relationships with co-workers, peers, collaborative partners and government agencies.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with project management strategies.
  • Knowledge in repair of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and window based programs.
  • Requires strong written, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Requires the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Requires the ability to work both independently and in a team oriented collaborative environment.
  • Requires the ability to perform the essential responsibilities and work task of the position.

  • Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing.
  • This position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing.
  • You must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance.
  • This position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
