Requirements

  • Associate degree in business administration or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years’ experience in building administration
  • Familiarity with building schematics and blueprint drawings
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Willingness to be on-call and provide after-hours support.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using building or energy management systems.
  • Successful completion of first and second level Air Conditioning or Electrician classes at an accredited institution or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in project management
  • Right-To-Know Certification and knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
  • Building Management Certification
  • First Aid Responder Certification

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the operation of the building infrastructure components (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and security)
  • Troubleshoot problems and supervise the repairs for building issues.
  • Solicit bids, coordinate maintenance, and supervise the workmanship of the building maintenance vendors (electrical, mechanical, fire prevention, badge access, etc.)
  • Track capacity and report metrics for available office space and building mechanical and electrical usage.
  • Plan associate moves and assign workspaces.
