About The Position

Key Responsibilities: Building Management: Direct and serve as the primary point of contact for building maintenance and cleaning contractors as well as ensuring reported issues are resolved in a timely manner. Track and prepare for service contract renewals. Assistant Security Officer: Assist the Facility Security Officer in required duties to include advance screening of visitor credentials, entries in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), processing and maintenance of visit records. Position will require access to and use of several U.S. government security systems. Monitor security of the building and classified information. Additional Responsibilities: Administrative Support: Manage front-desk operations, guest and client check-in/out. Office Management: Oversee day-to-day office functions to ensure efficiency, including managing office supplies and equipment. Communication: Act as a point of contact for internal and external communications. Directing, where necessary, general correspondence to the appropriate personnel. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate office and personnel records and databases, ensuring that information is organized and easily accessible. HR/Financial Administration: Assist with budgeting as well as helping process payroll. Coordinate interviews and job openings. Event Coordination: Support the organization and execution of company events. Key Attributes: Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion: Assist with New Hire and Employee Transitions, coordinating the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, equipment setup, and introductions. Managing offboarding procedures, ensuring a smooth transition for departing employees, and proper handling of property. Resourcefulness and initiative, with a professional demeanor and positive attitude: Special Projects, assisting with special projects and initiatives as assigned. Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS The ability to report to the office daily - this position is not eligible for remote work. This position requires a U.S. DoD Tier 3 background investigation and a SECRET security clearance. Investigation paperwork (SF 86) must be completed within 2 weeks of hire. Failure to obtain a clearance will result in termination of employment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Prior administrative experience, two or more years (this includes customer service, maintaining records, data entry, drafting correspondence, etc.). JOB COMPLEXITY: Security functions require exacting attention to detail and continuous development of knowledge. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognize the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. Supervision: Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments. ABOUT YOU You have general administrative experience and bring a wide skillset that includes organizational, time management, and project manager skills. You have the ability to maintain discretion with a range of proprietary and personal information across the workforce. Working in a fast-paced environment and balancing different priorities is second nature to you
