About The Position

The Building Auto Systems Specialist will oversee and manage the integrity of all Building Automation Systems. Systems to include but not limited to Siemens, Johnson Controls, Translogic, Primex. Keep systems up to date with recommend changes necessary to keep the systems current with technology and Information Services recommendations. Keep trends and data necessary to provide the Authority having Jurisdiction requirements. Diagnosing and troubleshooting network issues with Facilities Maintenance equipment. Requirements

  • HS or GED with Five plus (5+) years.
  • Technical or College considered in place of Years of Experience.
  • Work toward obtaining expert status on at least two systems and obtain State License in related field.
  • Skilled in Healthcare/Commercial Maintenance, Building Automation, Plumbing, Electrical, Emergency Power systems and Computer knowledge.

Nice To Haves

  • Pneumatic tube system, Medical Gas, Building Automation and AutoCAD experience preferred.
  • Experience with JCI/Siemens experience or energy management preferred.
  • Cisco networking CCNA certification preferred.
  • Experience with Siemens and Johnson Controls Building Automation Systems preferred.
  • Experience in Healthcare and Translogic preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the integrity of all Building Automation Systems.
  • Keep systems up to date with recommend changes necessary to keep the systems current with technology and Information Services recommendations.
  • Keep trends and data necessary to provide the Authority having Jurisdiction requirements.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting network issues with Facilities Maintenance equipment.
  • Troubleshoot problems and make needed repairs as needed of system and equipment.
