About The Position

Primarily in Custodial Services/Recreational Facilities, performs a variety of custodial tasks related to maintaining the University's buildings, facilities and grounds. Hours for this position are 10pm to 6am Friday through Tuesday (Wed and Thurs are days off)

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or GED
No experience required
May require driver's license
Position requires the ability to successfully pass a Post-Offer Pre-Employment (POPES) physical
Knowledge of the use of either cleaning equipment/materials or lawn equipment/materials
Ability to understand and follow directions
A criminal background check is required.

Responsibilities

Sweep and mop rooms and hallways; dust and performs general cleaning of rooms; clean windows
Vacuum and shampoo carpets; may strip and wax floors; clean and sanitize restrooms
Pick up trash, debris and/or litter from university buildings and grounds; empties trash receptacles
Assist with maintaining safe indoor/outdoor surfaces, including during inclement weather
May assist with events
May pick up and/or deliver equipment and supplies
May perform cleaning/washing duties in dining areas
May assist with other related campus needs as assigned
