About The Position

The Hydraulic Builder role involves assembling, installing, and repairing hydraulic machinery and components to ensure optimal performance and safety. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are critical, as the role directly impacts the reliability and efficiency of hydraulic operations. Ultimately, the Hydraulic Builder contributes to the successful completion of projects by delivering durable and precisely constructed hydraulic systems that meet client and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret complex hydraulic schematics and translate them into functional systems
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude related to hydraulic systems and components
  • Precision and manual dexterity for accurate assembly and installation of hydraulic equipment
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to identify and repair hydraulic system malfunctions
  • Problem solving abilities to minimize operational disruptions and maintain performance
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers, project managers, and technicians
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills to support project completion and shared goals
  • Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols and procedures
  • Proficiency in using specialized tools, equipment, and testing instruments related to hydraulic assembly and repair
  • Attention to detail to ensure system integrity, quality, and efficiency

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install hydraulic systems and components according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Inspect, test, and troubleshoot hydraulic machinery to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, including materials used and maintenance activities.
  • Adhere strictly to safety standards and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hydraulic equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Use precision tools and measuring instruments to ensure components meet exact specifications.
