Interpret and execute project requirements from drawings, work tickets, and project scopes, identifying potential build or installation challenges early Accurately track and report materials, labor time, supplies, and job-related costs to support inventory control, scheduling, and continuous improvement Set up, operate, and troubleshoot woodworking tools and machinery, ensuring precision, efficiency, and safe operation Maintain a high standard for tool condition, machine performance, and shop organization, promoting a safe and professional work environment Perform and support routine operator-level maintenance on machinery and equipment Contribute construction solutions and value-engineering ideas in collaboration with management, project managers, and design teams Fabricate and assemble complex wood and laminate fixtures to exact specifications and quality standards Install and oversee installation of hardware, glass, graphics, and customer product, ensuring alignment with design intent May lead or support on-site installation and dismantle efforts at off-site display locations, maintaining quality, efficiency, and professionalism in the field

Requirements

  • Experience fabricating and installing custom millwork in cabinet shop, architectural millwork, retail, commercial, hospitality, exhibit, or high-end residential environments
  • Hands-on experience building custom cabinetry, fixtures, and architectural woodwork, including casework, wall systems, shelving, and display elements
  • Working knowledge of hardwoods, veneers, laminates, and specialty materials used in premium millwork applications
  • Ability to read and execute work from architectural and shop drawings with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience operating woodworking machinery and hand tools, including saws, routers, sanders, and related equipment
  • Familiarity with CNC-machined components and incorporating them into finished assemblies
  • Experience with layout, assembly, and installation, including on-site adjustments when required
  • Understanding of finish quality, durability, and craftsmanship standards for high-visibility, client-facing environments
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively while following production schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures
