The Business Operations Manager, Information Services (IS) is responsible for the financial planning, management, and oversight of all IS operating and capital budgets across multiple cost centers. This role focuses on managing, maintaining, and forecasting operating budgets of approximately $90M+ and capital budgets ranging from $500K to $40M+, partnering with project managers on capital project financials, and ensuring that new technology services and transitions from existing services are accurately planned and funded. The Business Operations Manager works closely with the CIO, IS leadership, Finance, and project teams to provide clear financial insight, support decision-making, and optimize the use of IS resources in a complex, matrixed environment. The position requires handling highly confidential fiscal and employee data and includes responsibility for summarizing monthly and annual spend and creating financial presentations for executive leadership. The role also handles most of the requisitioning and contract management for the IS operating budgets. They will work with Finance on the accrual of budget over time, and ensure all invoices are paid. They will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of financial processes, tools, and reporting that support effective financial governance within Information Services.
