About The Position

The Budget and Educational Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of activity budgeting in the DCEHP office, including JPA/CPA development, invoicing of external and internal partners, overseeing the 3 main accounts within DCEHP, and conference and activity closeout, dispersing of funds. Data collection and analysis is essential in this position for accreditation reporting, ensuring all policies and guidelines are followed. The coordinator is responsible for maintaining the office budget, in conjunction with the director. The second aspect of this position is the educational coordination responsibilities, which include overseeing enduring materials (building and billing), manage assigned regular scheduled series and live courses. Monthly financial reports, and educational activity reports are to be provided to the director. Management of multiple databases is required to meet the essential aspects of this position. The ability to multitask is an essential element for successful completion of responsibilities.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of ACCME requirements
  • Medical terminology
  • College of Medicine departments
  • Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Word, Excel
  • ACCME, ANCC, ACPE accreditation requirements
  • HIPAA compliance requirements as the pertain to healthcare provider education
  • Knowledge of university policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of accounting information systems.
  • Knowledge of computers and various software packages.
  • Ability to problem solve effectively.
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision and clear expectations
  • Ability to appropriately communicate with people at all levels of organizational structure and foster excellent relationships through positive interactions with customers and co-workers
