About The Position

Our purpose at CloudHQ is to provide flexible, efficient and resilient data center solutions to businesses of all sizes. Our growing organization was founded by the pioneer of data center REITs. CloudHQ has state-of-the-art data center sites located in two Northern Virginia locations, as well as London, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan, and Sao Paulo, and we anticipate exponential growth over the next several years both in the US and abroad.

We are searching for an associate with business acumen that can assist with our Data Center construction and development process with partnership with the Accounting department. They will be responsible for assisting with both departments with reporting directly to the Accounting department. Budgets, contract management, invoice management, and assistance with construction bonds will be the primary responsibility.

Requirements

• Two to three years of experience in a real estate or business setting
• A bachelors degree in business degree or related
• Works well independently and in team setting

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing General Contractor paperwork and supporting documentation
• Save department deliverables to internal and external networks as needed
• Assist in construction bond process
• Request and manage expired construction and development Certificates of Insurance
• Save construction and development contracts and change orders to network
• Add contract to Yardi (accounting payable system) and manage workflow of approval process
• Add and update development and construction job budgets in Yardi
• Assist with accounts payable questions from development and construction vendors
• Contact soft cost vendors to request invoices as needed
• Save construction and development drawings, permits, etc. to our accounting folder
