This role supports a Navy customer in San Diego, CA. Job Description and Responsibilities: Budget Analyst supports Comptroller Department and Fleet Support Teams with budget formulation, execution, and financial reporting.

Requirements

• A Junior has 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or budget support.
• A Journeyman has 6+ years of federal budgeting or financial management experience.
• A senior has 10+ years of federal financial management or DoD budget experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Secret Clearance (must be a US Citizen)

Responsibilities

• Monitor, reconcile, and report on budget obligations and expenditures.
• Support development of financial forecasts and spend plans.
• Prepare budget documentation and metrics for leadership review.
• Maintain financial data in Navy ERP and local business tools.
• Support planning, programming, and financial reporting for multiple fund types (O&MN, APN, WCF, FMS).
