Service Center BU Specialist Department: Facility Services – Maintenance Location: Columbus, IN Schedule: Weekdays Type: Full-Time Do you have exceptional people skills, and you strive for customer quality? THE ROLE Reporting to a Service Center Supervisor within our NA Maintenance Team, the Specialist will work closely with the local facility team in our business units and follow up the efficiency of our vendors and internal technicians. The Specialist will be open-minded, enthusiastic, self-motivated, ready to learn and to provide support to our stores to operate effectively on our maintenance tools in ServiceNow.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate technical concepts.
  • A proven ability to provide customer service with meaningful results.
  • Strong problem solving, process improvement, and business presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to different personalities.
  • High ability to set priorities, meet deliverables and work with minimal supervision.
  • General service maintenance knowledge and experience in the convenience industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Support internal facility teams and vendors to operate efficiently in our maintenance software.
  • Technical support for assets and equipment located in our Circle K stores.
  • Provide troubleshooting and advice for reported functional issues.
  • Manage and coordinate with vendors and internal technicians to repair and service store equipment to ensure our stores are ready to serve our customers.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing specifications, procedures and quality standards in cooperation with the facility team.
  • Active communication to all parties involved for effective process management and problem resolution.
  • Create reports and analyze data to support the facility and operational teams.
  • Review and approve vendor invoices for services and parts, focusing on cost management.
