Role SummaryThe Controller will be responsible for ensuring that Financial and Operational controls are met in accordance with established accounting practices and procedures for the US Filter Business Unit.Main Tasks Provide overall financial direction and support to the Director and other functional areas of the business in order to achieve plant and business unit financial goals. Manage the financial aspects of the annual operating plan and strategic business plan process. Analyze monthly financial performance and review findings with operations staff. Supervise cost accounting and financial analysis functions to ensure financial controls and timeliness of reporting are in place to provide accurate information. Requirements of this position will include a complete understanding and working capability of general accounting principles, particularly in the area of cost accounting, inventory valuation and financial analysis of operating performance P&L and balance sheet steering & Reporting analysis General P&L, B/S, cost accounting & analysis Sales controlling & Offers/Quotation management R&D & OHD Controlling ( Sales, Marketing, Distribution and Admin) Investment Controlling / Project Controlling & Analysis Inventory Management & Analysis Receivables Management & other Commercial Balance sheet Analysis Risk management Internal audit Your ProfileEducation: BS degree in Accounting or Finance Experience: 10 years of experience working in an accounting department performing similar duties as described above Required Skills: Strong ERP and business systems knowledge Demonstrates Integrity Acts as role model Drives for Business Results Possess Technical Excellence Drives for Improvement Effective in championing change Preferred Skills: Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Accounting or finance experience in the automotive industry SAP ERP systems experience
