The Finance Intern will be responsible to complete a full Fixed asset count and suggest necessary adjustment to controlling register.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an Accounting/Finance degree program, with a minimum of two years completed.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS (accounting standard for the group consolidation).
  • Team working ability for an effective interaction within the Finance & Controlling Team.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in project-business would be a plus.
  • Experience with Accounting/Financial reporting would be a plus.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP system would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create project plan for Fixed asset count.
  • Conduct the count.
  • Verify discrepancies.
  • Work across departments with various managers.
  • Follow up on outstanding issues.
  • Suggest necessary adjustments to be made to Asset register.
  • Present lessons learned and make suggestions to better the count process.
  • Perform other projects and assignments as the arise and could take priority.
