About The Position

The BSA Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the sourcing, evaluation, and coordination of suppliers that support MNAe's EV component production. This role oversees supplier identification, quotation analysis, cost negotiations, and selection processes for sub‑parts such as aluminum extrusion, stamping, injection, and welding components. The specialist conducts detailed cost breakdowns, supports risk and part‑characteristic analyses, and ensures accurate and compliant procurement documentation in alignment with MOBIS policies. Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, this position helps maintain strong supplier relationships, secure competitive pricing, and ensure reliable supply and demand operations for EV sub‑parts. Through strong analytical skills, technical understanding of drawings and GD&T, and effective communication, the BSA Procurement Specialist plays a key role in supporting high‑quality, cost‑effective procurement activities essential to MNAe's electrified powertrain manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Engineering/Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Experience in a procurement related role
  • Communication skills: Intermediate
  • Strong analytical and technical skills: Requires understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and
  • Proficiency in drawing interpretation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within E-powertrain manufacturing/automotive industry preferred
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing environment
  • Experience in Al Extrusion / Stamping / Injection / Welding
  • Ability to understand 2D/3D drawings and knowledge of design tools
  • Experience ins using ERP system (SAP).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, as well as internal and external customers including Sales Managers, to ensure on-time results
  • Review legal documentation such as Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Letters of Intent (LOIs), terms and conditions, and develop documentation according to Mobis policy
  • Review supplier requirements, release quotations, and perform quotation analysis
  • Perform part characteristic analysis and risk analysis, and create Procurement policies
  • Research and secure potential suppliers
  • Perform cost analysis for parts, tooling, and other supplier expenses; negotiate prices with suppliers
  • Create detailed price breakdown for each product by analyzing the piece price and breaking the price down into its categories (e.g. material, labor and burden, etc.)
  • Negotiate supply agreements and cost models with key suppliers, ensure pricing and lead time information is updated
  • Comply with and promote safety in the workplace
