About The Position

Responsible for researching, crafting and implementing investment solutions and strategies using both advisory and non-advisory programs and products for the clients of a Financial Advisor team. Provide leadership to the Financial Advisor team, contributing to the short- and long-term strategic planning and overall investment knowledge of the team. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience
• Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 66 (or 63/65) and insurance licenses
• Demonstrated knowledge of advisory products and asset allocation techniques
• Strong writing and presentation skills
• Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office products

Nice To Haves

• Willingness to pursue additional credentials such as the Certified Financial Analyst Designation (CFA)
• Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) or other relevant training

Responsibilities

• Participate in the establishment of the strategic direction of the Financial Advisor team to increase revenue.
• Develop and execute cohesive investment strategies for clients that employ asset allocation, security selection and periodic rebalancing, utilizing both advisory and commission-based solutions, as needed to produce solutions customized to align with the specific goals and objectives of the client.
• Work closely with Wealth product managers to have a clear understanding of all available investment options and programs.
• Work in conjunction with financial planning tool analyses to assess proper asset allocation and security selection for both prospects and existing clients.
• Monitor investment performance of individual clients and conducts quarterly/annual performance reviews with Financial Advisors.
• Construct and present security recommendations for prospective clients.
• As needed, create models employed by the Financial Advisor team designed to use across the client base with the flexibility to be adapted to individual clients.
• Monitor the ongoing performance of the models and their underlying investments (e.g. third-party managers, mutual fund and ETFs).
• Create documentation regarding security selection and investment recommendations.
