Purpose of Role The Broker Dealer Operations - Fixed Income Intern supports the end‑to‑end lifecycle of fixed income trades by ensuring accurate trade capture, confirmation, and settlement across products such as corporate bonds, agency bonds, and mortgage‑backed securities. The role is responsible for validating and reconciling trade, cash, and position data, resolving discrepancies with internal teams and external counterparties, and preparing timely operational and market reports for stakeholders. It also involves maintaining accurate trade information in internal systems, supporting data gathering and analysis for traders and portfolio managers, and contributing to workflow and technology improvements that enhance overall operational efficiency.
