Requirements

Reliable transportation to be on time for scheduled shifts and mandatory meetings.
Food Handler Permit or Certification (prerequisite to employment, must obtain and maintain).
Ability to complete, pass, and maintain trainings, certifications, and knowledge tests.
Ability to perform mental math at times.
Written, oral, and verbal English proficiency.
Ability to view things from near and/or far distances.
Ability to stand, walk or be in movement during working hours, which can be up to 10 hours in a shift.
Possible stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
Ability to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 65 lbs.
Ability to work in chilly or hot weather (occasional exposure).
Occasional ascending or descending on ladders or ramps.
Ability for frequent, continual, intermittent flexing, or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine.

Responsibilities

Engage: Meet new people, greet and thank each customer with a smile and provide them with their moment of special.
Ask and Educate: Help customers learn our menu, different products, and current specials.
Embody: Uphold the Dutch Bros culture, which is focused on relationships.
Be Consistent: Ensure the customer gets exactly what they ordered, adhering to core values of speed, quality, and service.
Be Positive: Make all your friends feel there is something in them. Look at the sunny side of everything, and make your optimism come true.
Be Reliable: Show up to work on time and ready to go! Communicate availability needs and follow proper call out procedures.
Help out: Be prepared to support as needed.
Know your resources: Adhere to all company policies and procedures as laid out in the Mafia Manifesto and Employee Handbook.
Be on time: Ensure you have reliable transportation and can be on time for scheduled shifts and mandatory meetings.
Obtain and maintain a Food Handler Permit or Certification as required by state or local regulations.
Complete, pass, and maintain trainings, certifications, and knowledge tests to meet Dutch Bros standards and policies, including federal, state, and local regulations.
Perform mental math for cash transactions.
Communicate effectively with written, oral, and verbal English proficiency.
