Broadcast Studio Builder/Cabinet Maker | Hartford, CT Want to make cool stuff with your hands? We’re Pinnacle — an experiential marketing house. Strategists, creatives, builders, and your future besties, all fueled by the same pursuit: we’re never satisfied. Our name is an ambition. We chase down the next “holy smokes, they actually did that” moment. And then, we do it again. We are on the hunt for some new folks to join our Hartford shop. Our builders work with a skilled team of designers and fabricators to produce innovative brand experiences like broadcast studios, events, tradeshow, pop-ups and sporting events. Think College Game Day, gaming events, pop-ups at festivals. What You’ll Do You will build cool stuff! You can see it, touch it and smell it and be proud of what you’ve made! Using your carpentry experience, you’ll use table saws, routers and all kinds of hand tools to fabricate custom, broadcast studios, large-scale exhibits, events, activations, environments. Along with team you will determine the best way to construct something. You’ll look at detail drawings and solve the puzzle. You’ll assemble CNC parts to create cabinets, counters, walls, fixtures. You’ll laminate, peel laminate and laminate some more. You’ll get to be creative and tactical all day every day. What You Bring We are an energetic and creative bunch and have high expectations for all of our employees. In addition to being fun to work with, we would like to hire someone with the following experience, skills, and attributes: 3+ year(s) work experience in a woodworking, cabinet shop, exhibit or POP fabrication shop. Broadcast studio fabrication a plus. Knowledge of wood fabrication—cabinetry, furniture, exhibit and fixture fabrication. You know your way around wood and woodworking tools, materials and drawings. Experience with broadcast work is great—lighting, technical requirements. Organized and a solid communicator. You pay attention to the details—you have a dedication to excellence. You take pride in your work. You can work some crazy hours. We get busy! You can handle the physicality of the work—lifting up to 50 pounds often, on your feet, moving around. Not For You If… You’d rather work in a silo than lead and collaborate with a team. You don't want to put in the work, learn more and keep growing. You’re more comfortable maintaining the status quo than raising the bar.
