About The Position

The New England Sports Network (NESN), owned by the Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins, is the definitive source for New England sports programming and has consistently been one of the top-rated regional sports networks in the country. We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Broadcast Associate to join us for the Spring Semester of 2026! This is a part time internship at about 20-24 hours per week, paying $15/hour. This is a great opportunity for a rising junior or senior year college student looking to gain experience in a fast-paced work environment learning from our experienced team. This is a paid position that will provide a variety of production support to NESN’s remote and studio pregame/postgame teams at Fenway Park and our Watertown studios, w/MBTA reimbursement up to $100/month for using MBTA as primary mode of transportation.

Requirements

• Knowledge about the game of baseball
• Interest in television production and communications
• Excellent organizational skills; must be detail oriented
• Ability to work in fast paced, time sensitive environment

Responsibilities

• Assist production team in the truck at Fenway Park for select home games
• Learn to operate score bug graphic for select games
• Learn editing of highlights and b-roll for pregame and postgame
• Edit historical moments for remote and studio productions
• Live log and archive games
• Work with talent by learning prompter, stage manager and research
• Learn the editorial aspect of the ticker
• 20-30 paid hours per week (nights, weekends and some holidays)
