Northwood Technical College is seeking a professional to teach the Broadband Installation course in our Utility Construction Technician program at the Rice Lake Campus. This course covers the use of general, personal, and test equipment for broadband installation; types and applications of installation techniques; and proper methods for installation and termination of broadband networks. This would also include the introduction of broadband drop installation procedures and other project-based exercises using broadband machinery and tools. This isn’t just classroom lectures —students will roll up their sleeves and work with tools and equipment on project-based exercises that mirror industry standards. This course is scheduled for M,T,W, 7:30am -11:20am & 12:30pm -3:20pm, 4/27/26-5/13/26, 63 total hr. Northwood Tech Instructors teach in a discipline area in which they have specific training and competence. Instructors are expected to foster learner success, assess learner achievement, and continually improve learning opportunities. Instructors teach in a variety of learning environments including face-to-face, online, web-conferencing, and hybrid classrooms. Instructors are expected to continually improve the overall quality and delivery of learning, including the support of program and collegewide initiatives.
