About The Position

RK&K is currently hiring a Bridge Inspector to join our Construction,
Engineering, and Inspection (CEI) team in Raleigh, NC. This position is in our
Construction Management group which oversees the contractor’s operations on
roadway and bridge construction projects.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Two (2) years' lead experience in NCDOT bridge construction inspection
• NCDOT Concrete Field Testing
• NCDOT QMS Roadway

Nice To Haves

• BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution

Responsibilities

• Assisting the CEI Project Manager with daily bridge/roadway inspection
• Ensuring contractor compliance alongside quality control
• Performing NCDOT and municipal inspections and testing as required
• These tests and inspections include, but are not limited to: earthwork, asphalt, concrete, bridge and miscellaneous structures, toll facilities, lighting, signalization, environmental compliance, maintenance of traffic, utilities, etc.
• This position receives general supervision and instruction from the CEI Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager
