The Role We have an opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Bridge Inspection team in New York. This role supports the delivery of bridge inspection projects by coordinating schedules, managing equipment logistics, and processing contractor invoices. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in supporting infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting bridge inspection or transportation infrastructure projects in an Assistant Project Manager role.
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project scheduling software a plus.
  • Familiarity with NYSDOT bridge inspection processes preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project schedules and inspection timelines with project managers and field teams.
  • Arrange and track equipment rentals to ensure timely availability for field operations.
  • Manage contractor and vendor invoicing, verifying accuracy and maintaining project documentation.
  • Support project setup, budgeting, progress tracking, and closeout activities.
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams and external partners to keep projects on track.
