Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an engineering curriculum with a focus on civil/structures at an accredited college or university and have completed at least two years of study
- Civil Engineering students nearing completion of undergraduate studies, or students currently enrolled in graduate studies are encouraged to apply.
Nice To Haves
- Prior related coursework such as structural analysis, steel or concrete design, geotechnical engineering, etc.is preferred
- GPA of 3.0 or higher is desirable
- Experience with software packages related to structural engineering such as AutoCad or Microstation, Excel, Bluebeam, MathCad, and structural analysis software (SAP2000, Larsa, MIDAS, or similar) is preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop professionally and connect with our company leaders through our National intern program.
- Work in the capacity of bridge engineer on medium to large projects.
- Support engineering staff in performing structural analysis modelling.
- Assist in the production of engineering calculations and drawings under supervision of senior engineers.
- Support post-design construction activities by reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, or complex construction activities.
- Provides support for other engineering activities as required.
