Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a Master’s engineering program with a focus on civil/structural engineering at an accredited college or university.
Nice To Haves
- Prior internship experience is preferred.
- Relevant coursework, such as structural analysis, steel or concrete design, and geotechnical engineering, is preferred.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is desirable.
- Experience with structural engineering software packages, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation, Excel, Bluebeam, MathCAD, and structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, LARSA, MIDAS, or similar), is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop professionally and connect with company leaders through our National Intern Program.
- Work in the capacity of a bridge engineer on medium to large projects.
- Support engineering staff in performing structural analysis modeling.
- Assist in the production of engineering calculations and drawings under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Support post-design construction activities by reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, or complex construction activities.
- Provide support for other engineering activities as required.
