Bridge Designer Project Engineer- Multiple Locations NY
About The Position
This position will work with a professional engineer to design and detail plans on a variety of projects, including State/County highways, bridge rehabilitation/replacement, and culvert projects. There will be opportunities to engage projects at all stages of design and construction including feasibility, design decisions, drainage, permitting, bidding, and construction administration. Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience, preferably with EIT, PE is a plus
- Strong knowledge and experience in local and state bridge rehabilitation/replacement projects, culvert projects, and NYSDOT Specifications/ details
- Microstation experience is a must
- Good technical writing and communication skills
- Knowledge in plan, specification and estimate preparation
