About The Position
Full service engineering firm with tradition and reputation that goes back over 40 years looking to add a Bridge Department Manager to their Indianapolis office!
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
- 8+ years of bridge design/analysis experience
- PE License
- Experience with steel, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete design
- Proficient with bridge analysis software such as LARSA 4D and/or CSI Bridge
- Working knowledge of various state Bridge Design Manuals
- Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred
- Familiar with Bentley CAD tools preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead Structural Engineer/Project Manager on transportation projects (bridges, retaining walls, culverts)
- Perform quality assurance reviews
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Provide technical oversight
- Perform quality checks on project deliverables
- Monitor productivity/technical proficiency of staff
- Track progress to ensure production requirements are met
- Prepare structural scopes of work
- Develop work plans/schedules
- Assist with business development activities
